Today, Ultra Controlo completed the delivery, installation, commissioning, and formal handover of the full medical gas infrastructure at Zango Hospital in Angola. The handover marks another concrete milestone in the execution of this major healthcare project, and brings the total number of fully operational hospitals to six.
At the core of the installation is an ULTRAOX PSA oxygen generation plant, producing medical-grade oxygen on site without interruption or external dependency. Paired with ULTRACON medical air and vacuum centrals and a complete MGPS distribution network, the hospital now has everything it needs at every clinical point, fully installed, validated, and operational. Each system was tested and confirmed to international standards before handover, ensuring that the teams and patients at Zango can rely on this infrastructure from day one.
Zango is the sixth hospital delivered and commissioned on this project. Six facilities across Angola, each equipped with the same integrated medical gas infrastructure, each now serving the clinical teams and communities around them. Six hospitals where oxygen flows continuously, where medical air and vacuum are available at every clinical point, and where the infrastructure is built to last for the decades ahead.
The response from the hospital teams and local authorities at every handover has been the same: genuine, visible, and deeply felt. That reception is the clearest measure of what this work means in practice, and it is what drives Ultra Controlo to continue delivering at the highest level.
