Ultra Controlo Completes Delivery and Commissioning of Medical Gas Infrastructure at Bocoio Hospital, Angola
Today, Ultra Controlo completed the delivery, installation, commissioning, and formal handover of the medical gas infrastructure at Bocoio Hospital. The ceremony took place in the presence of representatives of the Hospital Administration, the Ministry of Health, UNDP, and the Ultra Controlo engineering team on site, marking another concrete and visible milestone in the execution of this major healthcare project across Angola. The systems handed over include an ULTRAOX PSA oxygen generation plant, a medical air plant, a medical vacuum plant, and the corresponding accessories, all installed and validated to international standards. The installations are now fully operational, placing Bocoio Hospital in a position to deliver safer, more reliable clinical care to the population it serves.
Ultra Controlo has successfully completed the delivery, installation, commissioning, and formal handover of the oxygen generation plant, medical air plant, medical vacuum plant, and accessories at Bocoio Hospital, in the presence of representatives of the Hospital Administration, the Ministry of Health, and UNDP.
This achievement follows the successful commissioning and handover of hospitals in Benguela, Kilamba Kiaxi, Kapalanga, and Libolo, and once again confirms what Ultra Controlo has consistently demonstrated throughout the course of this project: the equipment has been manufactured, delivered, installed, and progressively commissioned, hospital after hospital, despite the difficulties and delays that have affected overall execution conditions. The reception demonstrated by the hospital teams and local authorities throughout the handover process was unequivocally positive, reflecting a clear awareness of the importance these installations carry for everyday clinical practice and for the communities they serve.

At the core of the installation is an ULTRAOX PSA oxygen generation plant, producing medical-grade oxygen on site without interruption or external dependency. Paired with our medical air and vacuum centrals and a complete MGPS distribution network, the hospital now has everything it needs at every clinical point, fully installed, validated, and operational.

Ultra Controlo accompanies every project from engineering through to final handover, ensuring not only the technical installation but also the training of hospital teams, the transfer of knowledge, and the ongoing support required for safe and efficient long-term operation. That continuity of commitment, maintained under pressure and across complex conditions, is what the record of these deliveries demonstrates.

The satisfaction expressed by hospital teams and local authorities at each handover reflects, better than any statement could, the importance and impact of these infrastructures for the Angolan healthcare system and for the patients who will benefit from them. Ultra Controlo will continue to deliver on its obligations, with the same determination and technical rigour that the people of Angola and its partners deserve.
