When the air must not carry oil, as in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. The Hertz range has oil-free rotary screw (EAGLE), scroll (HS), reciprocating (PET Master) and turbo compressors.
Hertz refrigerated dryers, such as the HRD, give a +3 °C dew point. Desiccant (adsorption) dryers, such as the HDA, HHD and HMD, reach -40 °C, or -70 °C as an option, for uses that need drier air.
It produces nitrogen from compressed air by pressure swing adsorption (PSA) on a carbon molecular sieve. Hertz HNG, HNIT and HNG MOD generators deliver 95% to 99.999% purity, and the HCX and HDX purifiers take it further.
